Heart Start Workshop provided by Fast Aid - Community First Responders on behalf of British Heart Foundation.
Pupils have been busy designing their own healthy snacks / meals in school. They planned what they wanted to create and designed a marketing campaign for their products – including a product name, logo, strap line / slogan, packaging and advertising posters. On Tuesday 13th February, pupils shared their healthy snack creations with the rest of the class. This event was a great success and pupils all enjoyed taking part and sharing their products. We certainly have a few potential ‘Apprentice’ candidates in our midst!
On Friday 2nd February, the whole school celebrated. Number Day. The day consisted of a variety of exciting maths opportunities in the classrooms. These included (depending on age group): • Number stories; • Problem solving; • Art activities linked to maths; • Modelling; • Games; • Number rhymes and songs; • Competitions and challenges. In addition to this, Year 6 pupils planned a maths trail around the school and grounds for pupils to take part in during the day.
